11 Questions from Justine from Love Every Aspect:

What lead you to start blogging in your particular niche?

I am a mother of FOUR kids, and I wanted a place to write about my struggles and successes while helping other moms in the same place as me.

What was or is your biggest struggle when it comes to blogging?

Time, for sure! I have so many ideas that I want to add to my blog and write about. But with four kids and trying to keep my income up while working from home, I am strapped for time to work on my websites.

What do you find most rewarding about your blogging journey?

The connections I have made and the networking I am able to do. I also love the aspect of working to provide for my family. Blogging was shown to me as a lonely journey that doesn’t make a lot of money. I haven’t even been blogging for a year and I now know this to be very untrue!

Do you have a favorite hobby you like to do on the side?

I have many hobbies! But my favorites tend to be reading, writing, and photography. They are the reasons I thought starting a blog would fit with my style! Because I love to write and take photos! It’s been extra work for me to learn how to fit my hobbies into my new busy life and not allow work to overcome my affection for my hobbies.

What is your idea of a relaxing day?

If I were able to choose without any other distractions, I would spend time with my nose in a good book and take a long shopping trip to a store like Hobby Lobby. However, realistically, a relaxing day usually involves the kids having quiet time with a TV show and me working on my blog or writing something.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?

I’m torn! I have SO many bucket list goals for traveling. I want to visit Africa, Ireland, Scotland, and Europe. I also want to visit more of Canada.

Do you have any irrational fears?

I dislike tight, enclosed spaces and heights. I’m not sure I’d call what I feel an irrational fear because I can still be in an enclosed space and I can still be in a tall building but, if I can avoid them, I will.

Are you a morning person or a night owl? Have you always been one or the other?

By preference only, I am a night owl. I LOVE being out late at night. However, for now, I am a morning person. I can get more done in the morning. I am usually too tired in the evenings to even attempt to try anything. Once my days start to adjust after the kids grow up a bit, I will probably go back to a night owl. I have ALWAYS been a night owl until I had kids.

What do you consider to be your spirit animal and why?

I’ve never thought about it! Maybe a wolf? I love my family and I’m loyal.

What is a guilty pleasure of yours?

Chocolate and wine! Seriously, I know I should get healthier! But I figure as long as I indulge in moderation, I am okay to enjoy a treat every once in a while.

If you were a teacher, what advice would you give to a senior about to graduate?

To not feel so stressed about what field they eventually find work in. I had NO clue about blogging or running an online business when I graduated! I would say to be flexible and find a type of work that you are truly passionate about.
