Are anyone else’s kids going crazy?! Is it just me? It’s barely spring and my kids are pent up with energy. I have a feeling this spring is going to be extra short. We have a mild winter, then in February we got over 20 inches of snow. Now we are halfway through March and the snow hasn’t disappeared yet!
Are you looking for some fun in the spring, specifically for your whole family? You and your family can celebrate spring while on a budget! I usually have a hard time finding activities that both parents and kids can participate in and enjoy. That’s what I focused on for this article on spring activities.
You can have fun even if the weather isn’t the best right now. So far, we haven’t had too much rain, but it’s been quite cold and cloudy.
Spring is a fun time of year, especially if you have kids. It is a wonderful time to re-connect with your family. There are many great activities that you can do in the spring that would be fun for the whole family.
As a family, we like to spend a lot of time outside. We explore the river and find pretty flowers that my kids end up mutilating (or as they like to call it, picking flowers). This past winter was full of snow and cold temperatures. So, we aim to spend a TON of time out in the sun!
So, here are some spring activity ideas for you and your family.

Check to see if your library has a reading program
Visit the park
Go on a scavenger hunt walk.

The weather has been getting warmer, even though it’s still quite wet out. Shed your winter gear and try out these fun ways to enjoy the season of spring. I can’t wait to shop the spring deals and find some cute clothes for the kids.
We have been looking forward to warmer weather and seeing the flowers and plants bloom. The kids have a new zeal for the outdoors with the warmer weather. Hopefully these ideas for spring activities will help all of us with the endless amounts of energy that kids seem to have!
