Cleaning the bathroom is a BIG priority of mine! It can be so gross and I like to make sure it is clean since I have 4 kids. Making sure that the bathroom stays germ free is a must for our house.

This homemade bathroom spray will leave your bathroom clean and fresh and ready for kids’ little hands to explore everywhere!
I have been researching and finding new ways to clean the house without using a ton of chemicals. I want the recipes to be simple and cheap to make and still effective for whatever I am using the product for.
One of the main areas I focus on in our house are the bathrooms. I love to have clean bathrooms. I like having a clean place to get the kids ready for bed and I like making sure that the bathroom is free from germs and bacteria.
This simple disinfectant spray for the bathroom solves all of my wishes!
Here’s what you will need to create your own bathroom cleaner spray:
2 cups of water
½ cup of washing soda
¾ cup vodka
15 drops tea tree essential oil (Grab this EO!)
15 drops lemon essential oil (Grab this EO!)
A glass spray bottle – make sure it comes with a spray nozzle (Use these bottles for a splash of color!)
Funnel (Use this funnel for easy handling!)
Label for the spray bottle
Here’s how you make the bathroom disinfectant spray:
Grab a bowl big enough to fit all of the ingredients in.
Begin by pouring in the warm water and the two essential oils.
Pour in the washing soda and vodka.
Gently stir all of the ingredients together in the bowl.
Once all of the ingredients have dissolved, use the funnel to pour the liquid into the spray bottle.
If you desire (and I recommend doing this), create a label to remind you of what is in the spray bottle.
There you have it!
Use this DIY bathroom disinfectant spray to clean sinks, counters, and other surfaces in the bathroom that need a bit of cleaning and disinfecting.
